Association Activities
DCP Association is a co-curricular forum for the students to enhance their extracurricular talents, to interact with industrial experts etc. The body comprises President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Librarian and executive committee members. Head of the Department is the ex-officio president of the association. One senior faculty nominated by HOD is the vice president. Now this post is held by Smt. Santhini K.S. The students’ representatives are elected in the annual general body meeting. In the year 2017-18, Haritha K.H. of S6 DCP was the secretary and Aiswarya Shaju of S4 DCP held the post of Joint Secretary. Sajna P.M. of S6 DCP and Anjali Haridas were the Treasurer and Librarian respectively. Shakira V.U., Jeeva K.S., and Deepa Prabha A.P. are the executive committee members representing S6, S4 and S2 classes respectively.
The annual convention of DCP Association was inaugurated by the Principal on 16th March 2018. As part of the programme, a class on “Stress Management” was conducted by the famous corporate trainer, Shri. Harish Babu. An advanced course on “GST in Computerised Financial Accounting” was conducted under the Visiting Faculty Scheme in February 2018 for Sixth semester students. The session was led by Shri. Thilakan J. Kadavil, a professional Tally Expert. In December 2017, the students of final semester class attended a workshop on Desktop Publishing.
